Noticed one of my headlamp bulbs is burning real dim lately and I feel its time to swap it out, but I'm not running anything fancy like LEDs, just standard bulbs.
any good replacement I can grab from a local auto parts store that works well with the defender? Just something straightforward and dependable. Appreciate any tips

You can usually find good options from brands like Philips at your local auto parts stores. Just make sure to check your manual or the old bulb to confirm the correct bulb type. And yeah, replacing them in pairs is a great idea for even brightness! hope this helps

Totally agree, Philips is reliable, and checking your manual or old bulb is key. Replacing both at once definitely keeps the light balanced. Helpful advice

Dang, I really hate light problems since that can cause you lots of troubles if you leave it be. Get Philips right away. There's a reason we hear this name come often.

Great advice all around. Yeah, Philips is definitely a reliable choice for hassle-free replacements. Have you verified whether your bulb uses an H4 or H7 yet? It could be smart to replace both while you're at it, so you won't find yourself hunting down the other one next week

Are you looking for something similar to the OEM halogen brightness, or maybe a bit whiter or longer-lasting? Try Sylvania XtraVision, good performance without going full LED.
